(Primary Care/Family and Internal Medicine)
Maren is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse Supervisor who is highly competent with assisting healthcare providers in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical workflow. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. In the role as a supervisor, we will ask that you assess the performance of others, provide training as required to remedy performance deficiencies in others, and that you will utilize a high degree of emotional intelligence as you influence the performance, feelings, and careers of subordinate employees.

Pay Range: $37.00-$47.00 (Hourly Rate)
Essential Functions for this job:
Supervision and Leadership Duties:
Manage and supervise a team of Medical Assistants and/or Licensed Vocational Nurses as may be required.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
Conduct performance evaluations and recommend training or development opportunities.
Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
Patient Care:
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, collecting samples, and observing patient conditions.
Assist physicians during medical procedures.
Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and treatments.
Perform basic laboratory tests, such as blood draws and specimen collection.
Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
Address and resolve any patient care concerns promptly.
Administrative Duties:
Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
Oversee inventory management of medical supplies and equipment and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals.
Monitor compliance with local, state, and quality improvement standards and initiatives.
Develop, implement, and maintain nursing policies and procedures.
Prepare reports on various patient key metrics, staff performance, and other ad-hoc reports as necessary to measure key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications:
Current California LVN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role preferred.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficiency in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
High degree of emotional intelligence
Work Environment:
Position operates inside with little to no exposure to outside conditions. This position is customarily subject to a controlled ambient temperature and comfortable surroundings. May require heavy lifting occasionally, with prolonged standing at times. May require walking and assisting patients for extended periods of time. May involve exposure to infectious diseases and hazardous materials occasionally.
